After completing this module students will be able to describe cloud computing and how it relates to Microsoft Azure. Students will learn how to sign up for Microsoft Azure and explore the Management Portal.

Students will also learn how to implement Traffic Manager and the benefit of this service.
This module will introduce you to the web site, cloud service, and virtual machine services offered by Microsoft Azure. After this module you will be able to decide when to use each service and how to configure each service.
This module will introduce the students to Azure Active Directory. Students will learn how to manage users and access to cloud resources, extend their on-premises AD to the cloud, provide single sign-on across cloud applications, enable multi-factor authentication, and provide authentication and access management for developers.
This module introduces the students to the topic of big data. Students will learn how to use HDInsight to manage data of any type. Students will also learn how to use Azure Backup to back up and recover company data to the cloud.
This module will describe the Windows Azure Pack for Windows Server. Students will learn how to deploy the Windows Azure Pack and how to provision services using the Windows Azure Pack for Windows Server.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, User Datagram Protocol (UDP), and DNS.
Knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) principles, and fundamentals of AD DS management.
Understanding of certificate-based security.
Understanding of Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 fundamentals.
Understanding of Windows client operating system essentials, such as a working knowledge of Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.
